At some point, many people start to feel like nutrition has become far more complicated than it should be. After years of dieting, food rules, and conflicting advice, it can feel impossible to know how to nourish your body in a way that supports your health and still allows you to enjoy your life.
That’s where I come in!
My Story
My path to dietetics began with my own experience navigating disordered eating and body image struggles. For years, I believed health meant strict rules, constant discipline, and chasing a certain number on the scale. Over time, I learned that true well-being comes from a much more balanced approach; one that supports your mental, emotional, and physical health.
That experience shaped how I practice today. Instead of handing you another list of rules, I help you untangle years of dieting, rebuild trust with food, understand what your body actually needs, and create realistic habits that support your energy, health, and everyday life. My approach blends intuitive eating principles with practical, evidence-based nutrition so you can feel both free around food and confident in how you're caring for your body.
I graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics and earned my M.S. in Nutrition and Wellness from California University of Pennsylvania. After more than a decade working in community nutrition, I founded Food Freedom Momma in 2023 as a virtual private practice dedicated to helping women create lasting change in both their health and their relationship with food.
When I’m not meeting with clients, you can find me spending time with my husband and kids, walking my dog, or baking fresh cookies.

To help women step away from chronic food preoccupation and
into a peaceful, empowered relationship with food through a
compassionate, non-diet approach to nutrition, that honors both
science and lived experience. Using gentle nutrition, body
awareness, and self-respect to help women build lifelong health
habits and improve overall well-being.
